Rihanna is pretty picky with who she collaborates with these days. Her last collabs have been with Future, Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris and it seems she's not about to add Diplo to that list.

The producer and Major Lazer leader, who to be fair is one of the biggest producers in the world, has pitched songs to RiRi many times but she just keeps turning them down.

In a new interview with GQ Style he talked about all the times he tried to get her on a track.

"I just want her on a Major Lazer song. She's like the one artist that we can't ever get," he said.

He tried to get her on Lean On, one of the most streamed songs of all time, and she told him, "I don't do house music."

He then sat with Future, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin and RiRi herself with all of them playing songs.

"Future played her, like, 700 songs. It was four in the morning. Finally, I was like, Yo, G, I'm leaving unless you let me play her a song. So I played her a song. And she was like, This sounds like a reggae song at an airport. [laughs] I was like, I'm gonna go kill myself."

Rihanna has already shot back, screenshotting one of the headlines about the, "reggae song at an airport," and posting on Instagram with the caption, "#DutyFree...my bad."

Look, we would love them to collaborate but at the same time Rihanna playing hard to get is a really good look for her.
