    The UK's dirtiest festivals have been revealed with a bunch of data showing there's plenty of people not worrying about showering.

    The research by Spaseekers (via NME), surveyed 500 British festivalgoers asking them questions about cleanliness and general hygiene.

    Download Festival ranked as the dirtiest festival with the research showing that 40% of attendees don't wash their hair for the entirety of the festival while 48% don't wash their hair. 1 in 10 went even further and didn't even brush their teeth.

    42% of Reading and Leeds festival attendees didn't take a shower at all but Creamfields returned even worse results with 13% admitting to not changing underwear at all.

    Bestival returned a pretty clean rating but it seems to be the most party-oriented with festivalgoers getting an average of just over three hours sleep per night.

    We need this study of Aussie festivals ASAP. We know plenty of you aren't showering at Splendour.
