Since we heard 2017's The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit back in 2017 and it consequently dominated both the ARIA Charts and the triple j Hottest 100, we've been patiently waiting for more music from Dune Rats.
And this morning the loose, green-lovin' dudes have delivered with a cheeky music video for a brand new song called No Plans.
The band says, "No Plans was the first song we’d written after coming off a long stretch of touring and summed how we felt at the time. It’s about throwing three shits to the wind and seeing what sticks."
Playing on the criticism they've probably heard from teachers/parents/old boring people their whole life - that they're doing nothing with their life and have 'no plans' - the boys kick off the video as listless high school kids getting told off by their guidance counselor.
But the joke's on the guidance counselor as the trio set off on their tour journey, and here is where we see real tour footage and behind-the-scenes photos of what the trio are really like on the road.
The video has a real '80s stoner movie/Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure-kinda vibe as well as a cleaner sound that's more pop punk that grungry surf punk.
