    We've all been there. You're at a concert, singing your heart out - until you realise you're singing the totally wrong lyrics. Thankfully, a triple j Facebook post has confirmed we're not the only ones that do that - so here's some of our favourite misheard lyrics.

    This person thought that Dune Rats had a really mean vocalist on board:

    Before i knew the name of it, I thought the Dune Rats song had really harsh backup singing:

    Someone's son completely getting the lyrics wrong to a PNAU song - and it being even more on brand:

    Song not from this year but I heard my 7 year old singing Pnau - into the sky. “Ooh the toothless guy” the funniest part he was actually missing his two front teeth at the time ????

    RUFUS must really love muffins, according to this comment: 

    4 years or so ago....Rufus - You were right. I thought he was singing

    A couple of interpretations of Lil Nas X's Old Town Road:

    Have no idea how but the lyrics to “old town road” got embedded in my head as “gonna take my hoes to the hotel room and gonna riiiiiide till I can’t no more” was mortified when my kids were listening to it until husband kindly corrected me with the actual lyrics ????
