Ed Sheeran hasn't been one to feature many artists on his songs, but it seems like this time the Brit is stepping out into the world of cool collaborations - we didn't expect this, but today he's dropped a new song called Cross Me featuring Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock.
The song is leagues away from the acoustic guitar vibes that we've known from Ed over the years; instead, Cross Me is all '80s synths, hip hop beats and glitchy chopped vocals. Chance The Rapper delivers a pretty impressive verse, while PnB Rock has been given hook duties.
The song lands only two weeks after we heard Ed's collaboration I Don't Care with Justin Bieber, which swiftly topped charts around the world. And if you're wondering if there are more collabs where those came from, there absolutely are.
The singer/writer/producer has announced that he'll be dropping the follow-up to his No.5 Collaborations Project this July, another collaborations album called No.6 Collaborations Project. No.5 featured loads of UK musicians like Wiley and Devlin, but apart from Biebz, Chance and PnB Rock, we have no idea who else this upcoming 15-track record will feature.
