We're gonna assume (and hope...) that this is just a lame attempt at creating something meme-worthy and viral but given Elon Musk's weirdness, we're not too sure.
The billionaire entrepreneur has randomly uploaded a heavily autotuned rap track to SoundCloud over the weekend with the title RIP Harambe, apparently on a label called Emo G Records.
We're a little bewildered by the reference to the three-year-old Harambe meme too (since meme culture moves so quickly, a little reminder that Harambe was the gorilla shot in an Ohio zoo after a toddler climbed into its enclosure).
Harambe's old news Elon, don't you go on Twitter? He should've written a song about the record-breaking egg instead.
Either way, the track has already copped over half a million streams on the service, but we're guessing it is in fact an April Fool's joke (totally cheating considering it's still March 31st in the US!).
