Eastside producer Benny Blanco's been teasing a collab called Roses with Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie and Juice WRLD all week and it's landed this morning.
It's a bit of an odd collab, we'll be honest - we've never heard Brendon's soaring theatrical vocals set to a trap beat and hearing Juice WRLD singing Roses Are Red/Violets Are Blue is also a little surreal. But Benny had a theory.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Benny explained his thinking behind putting the two voices together though.
"This new wave of emo rapping - everything goes in waves and all these kids, Juice WRLD and all these guys, they grew up worshipping these guys, the Warped Tour movement. I was like, how has no one done this yet? How has no one put together the emo dudes with the emo rappers?"
