Flume’s Holdin’ On was always begging for a version with an emcee spittin’ some raps over the top and now that the kid has dominated enough to warrant a deluxe edition of his debut we’re in luck!
Freddie Gibbs goes in and out pretty quick smart and if I was to have it a guess I’d say these are most likely throwaway raps that didn’t make the cut on Mr. Gibbs’ recent sessions with Madlib. His voice sounds great over Harley’s production though and fingers crossed we can look forward to hearing more rap collabs in the future as Flume meets more and more people in his world domination travels.
