It's been two years since Foals' last record What Went Down but by the sounds of it, they've started work on album number five.
Frontman Yannis Philippakis shared a flower-filled picture to his Instagram with the caption, "Off to write the next record brb."
Last time he updated on the new album he told NME the band were, "in the marinating stage of thinking about getting onto the next record."
"We have a couple of bits written but it’s in the very early stages. We’re in the conception stage, we’re not pregnant yet, we’re just trying to have the kid.”
If we're to go by Yannis' latest post, they're beyond thinking about it now and onto making it.
"We’ve got to go through some sort of violent change for the record to be what we want it to be," he further said earlier this year which means we should be prepared for something completely different.
