Meet Fuuki, he’s someone you might soon bump in to, if you call Sydney home.
For the last few years, he’s been found on the papers of a notebook but recently thanks to corn starch and a paintbrush he’s been popping up in the inner suburbs of the city, leading to a spade of sightings on Instagram feeds, blogs, and even tattooed on to a couple of bodies of complete strangers around the world.
Willem Sholten, his creator, is graphic designer and T-shirt shop manager from Sydney via Holland. He wants to not only create some art and get people talking, he’s currently working his ass off raising money to start a T-shirt business featuring none other than our friend Fuuki – the playful rabbit who’s got multiple personalities and is making his way into the hearts of hipsters and hobo’s alike.
Because of Pozible artists around the world have had the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for their creative endeavors. Today Fuuki reached 54% of the funding goal and time is ticking. If you’re interested in supporting Fuuki head over to Fuuki’s Pozible Site. It’s people like Willem who keep art alive on the streets of the city so your contribution won’t go unnoticed.
