    Our emo hearts burst with joy when we found out this November that Gerard Way and the My Chemical Romance gang were well and truly back together and gearing up for a few shows. Then, Download Festival revealed the band would actually be headlining their Australian 2020 festival and we were dead, gone, deceased.

    We actually spent some time with Gerard when he was in Australia back in 2015 - we took him to Minotaur in Melbourne to tell us about his one true love, comic books. As the creator of his very own award-winning The Umbrella Academy series, Gerard definitely knows his shit when it comes to anime and manga, so we let him loose like a kid in a candy shop and here are the results.
