American rock five-piece Grouplove want a bit more colour in the world, and they're set to release a surprise new album to help spark people's 2021.

Their fifth album, This Is This, is out this Friday, and they've just dropped the first taste of what to expect. Grouplove always bring the firepower, and this is no different!

Deadline is a raucous track about burning out and trying to deal with the fallout of exhaustion. The band's looking to move on from the last 12 months, and give people a reason to dance - no matter where they might be.

Speaking about the track, the band says that they want This Is This to put a bit of colour into people's lives. “We hope this album gives people the permission to fucking scream or headbang or punch walls.

"It’s important to stay emotional. The whole rainbow is important. If we just live in the light blues, are we really alive? I’m not. I need to feel it all.”

Each band member is dressed up like a different colour, and they're letting loose with a jam inside a television set.  They're also covered in glitter, which looks like one hell of a fun (and messy) time. We don't envy whoever had to clean up.
