    Gucci Mane

This Friday, Gucci Mane will release his first album of the year Evil Genius and while for most that's more than enough music for one year, Gucci has a pretty strong track record of releasing two or three albums a year.

Despite this being his first album of the year though, he's had a pretty busy year popping up on other people's records so we thought we would take a look at the year that he's had.

Here are the best Gucci collabs of the year from his own tracks with others to guest spots on some of the biggest songs of the year.

Wake Up In The Sky (W/ Bruno Mars & Kodak Black)

We love it when Gucci teams up with RnB vocalists and he sounds so damn good with Bruno Mars at the helm. Wake Up In The Sky is the most low-key song he's released in a long time in terms of instrumental but he still makes it sound like it's dripping with diamonds.

    BiPolar (W/ Quavo)

Gucci and Migos have a pretty good track record together but it turns out Gucci is just as good with Migos' hook-maker Quavo. Here Quavo provides the ad-libs and melody while Gucci handles the bars like the pro he is.

I'm Not Going (W/ Kevin Gates)

Gucci and Kevin Gates met for the first time this year with Gates actually getting pretty emotional about finally meeting his fellow "hood legend". We're damn happy they met because their chemistry is pretty electric on this icy cut.

Cocky (W/ A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, London On Da Track)

Every artist on this track has had a pretty spectacular year but they celebrated early with a chest-puff of a song that Gucci wins with his golden final verse.

    Reel It In (W/ Aminé)

Aminé and Gucci are two of the most playful, charismatic MCs around so it's somewhat unsurprising that their meeting is heaps of fun.

In This House (W/ Lil Wayne)

Gucci and Wayne reunited earlier this year and immediately got people excited about a follow-up to their many collabs, most notably 2009's We Steady Mobbin'. Tha Carter V bonus track is a flex from two of the best lyricists in the game.

10am/Save The World (W/ Metro Boomin)

The opener to Metro Boomin's excellent 2018 record NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES is a surprisingly soft affair for both artists. Gucci's delivery is one of the softest he's ever given, choosing to give us melody over volume.

    CC (W/ Migos)

Migos' Culture II was a bit of a mess but Gucci brought it on one of the most likeable tracks on the album. CC sounds otherworldly, the perfect atmosphere for Gucci to give a woozy, show-stealing performance.

Gucci Mane's Evil Genius is out this Friday.
