It's been a while between albums for sister gang HAIM, but the trio have finally announced the name and release date of their third album overnight and it's perfectly timed and on theme with International Women's Day on March 8th.
Titled Women In Music Pt. III like it's a conference panel on female representation in music, the album will drop April 24th with production from HAIM's Danielle, ex-Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij and Grammy-winning producer Ariel Rechtshaid.
We've already heard songs like Summer Girl, Now I'm In It and Hallelujah off the album, and overall it's been a more mature offering than we've come to know from HAIM. Gone are the summery '90s vibes - instead there are moody horns, jazzy ballads and stripped back instrumentation.
Bonus fact - the album title's acronym is WIMPIII, which makes for some amazing merch.
Either way, we're so excited to hear more from the band - tomorrow they drop a new single called The Steps.
