It turns out that when Halsey isn't cooking up her next pop hit, she's busy watching the NBA. She loves basketball - specifically the Los Angeles Lakers - A LOT.
She's already tweeted about basketball a fair bit on her main Twitter account, but she's recently become a star of NBA Twitter thanks to her new account @halseyandone.
She made the account so she didn't get on the nerves of her followers that aren't into basketball, and it looks like she's been a good luck charm for the Lakers.
Since she made the account, the Lakers are 5-1 in the NBA Playoffs. They're currently leading the Denver Nuggets 2-1 in the Western Conference Finals, and are just two wins away from reaching the NBA Finals.
We're pretty confident that if that happens, Halsey will be even more nervous than she is now. She loves live-tweeting the games, so if you want to get into basketball, give Halsey a follow.

As a sidenote - Halsey was recently voted one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2020. She thinks it's because of her contribution to NBA Twitter - which we're more than happy to believe.
I would like to think the reason I made #TIME100 this year was because of my contributions to NBA Twitter
