Halsey is a creative in every sense of the word - she can paint, sketch, dance, act, deliver slam poetry and of course, write and sing music, but now she's adding poet to her long list of qualifications.
The Grammy-winning star has revealed that she's releasing her very first poetry book called I Would Leave Me If I Could, through publisher Simon & Schuster.
Available for pre-order now, the book will reportedly feature "never-before-seen poetry of longing, love, and the nuances of bipolar disorder" as well as "delve into the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality, and mental illness".
The synopsis also reads, "More hand grenades than confessions, these autobiographical poems explore and dismantle conventional notions of what it means to be a feminist in search of power."
True to her creative spirit Halsey has also painted the art on the book's cover.
You can pre-order I Would Leave Me If I Could: A Collection of Poetry here ahead of its release in November.
I wrote a few thousand sentences but am somehow struggling to string together a single one to summarize how excited I am about this. “I Would Leave Me If I Could.”, my first collection of poetry, is available for pre-order now. https://t.co/HqIrJJ8joM pic.twitter.com/0ImCfVVNuI
