Hayley Kiyoko has been busy releasing a string of new tracks, and she's just dropped the first official single, as well as the final track, from her project I'm Too Sensitive For This Shit.
She, which addresses her struggles and hopes as a closeted teenager, forms part of ITSFTS and continues the theme of upbeat yet poignant tracks that Hayley has been releasing, dropping music each month. Rather than form a follow-up album since she released EXPECTATIONS last month, instead it's her way of showing fans what she's been working on.

The track is accompanied by a music video set in her childhood bedroom. Hayley appears as a teenager imaginging herself as a superstar, Her N*SYNC member Lance Bass poster comes to life, even lip-syncing along to some of the track.
Speaking to Teen Vogue about the track and the video, Hayley said, "I actually got emotional putting on the wig. It brought on a wave of feelings and reminded me of how insecure and hard I was on myself during that time. I felt a wave of pride as well knowing I overcame my fears and I was now celebrating that moment."
"When I was younger, I hid so much of who I was, and secretly felt so different and alone. But I was really inspired by artists like Tegan and Sara and Lance Bass; they made me feel like I could turn my dreams into a reality. Having representation is so important and means so much to the future generations."
That makes the Lance Bass feature all the more special, given she says her "biggest dream was to be as successful as N*SYNC." Hayley is a huge advocate for mental health and those who are LGBTQI+, and it's so exciting that Lance Bass cameos in the video.
