It was a hotly contested Hottest 100 of the Decade, but in the end there was only one winner - Tame Impala's The Less I Know The Better, with Arctic Monkeys' Do I Wanna Know? and Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) rounding out the top 3.

Tame Impala also beat out the likes of Gang Of Youths, Angus & Julia Stone and Foster The People, which proves just how much great music there's been in the last decade, both in Australia and overseas.

Meanwhile, Aussie favourites RÜFÜS DU SOL came in at #5 for their 9-minute epic Innerbloom. while another Aussie favourite, English trio The Wombats had 2 entries, with Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) at #31, and Greek Tragedy at #86.

Dubstep legend Skrillex made it in with his track Bangarang (feat Sirah) at #55 - after all, who hasn't had a great night out or 2 listening to this tune? GROUPLOVE proved they've stood the test of time as well, with Tongue Tied off their debut album Never Trust A Happy Song coming in at #54.

Kanye West ended the countdown with 5 entries, while Flume racked up 8 - with both having a very, very successful countdown. Some things change, and some things stay the same. You can check out the top 10 below, as well as the full countdown here.
