    It's the week after a long weekend so we know you haven't had much time to figure out what you're doing for this weekend and the weekends after. We've got ya back though and have found a few things that might float you + your friends' boats. Word of warning: we've decided the weekend starts today 'cos, according to Alex Lahey, every day's the weekend. 

    Winston Surfshirt Island Party - Thursday 5th October

    Winston Surfshirt are launching their debut album in a pretty special way tonight. Their throwing a party on The Island in the middle of Sydney harbour and you may have already been invited. If you've bought a copy of their album from the store the band have told you to check your emails. If not, there's still time to grab a copy and nab yourself an invite. It's going to be very groovy.

    The Kite String Tangle Headline Tour - Sunday 8th October

    The Kite String Tangle has had a big few months off the back of his debut album, released earlier this year. He's played Splendour In The Grass and toured with ODESZA, just to name a few, and now he's heading out on the road on his own. He'll hit Sydney this weekend and while Saturday is sold out, there are still a handful of tix for the Sunday show which you can sort out for yaself here. If you happen to be Adelaide-based (why are you reading this article) or know someone who lives in Adelaide, there's still some tix left for TKST's Adelaide show, which you can get here

    Boo Seeka Show - Friday 6th October

    Boo Seeka are touring their mind-bending new album Turn Up Your Light and you can see it live in the flesh this weekend. The duo that traverse rock and electronica will play a headline show on Friday in Sydney supported by Canberra rapper Turquoise Prince who is very firmly on our radar right now.     Kim Churchill Weight_Falls Tour - Friday 20th October 

    The Factory Theatre, Marrickville 

    Kim Churchill has spent the past two years "growing up" and now he's ready to present his grown self to you with a swag of new tunes off his latest album Weight_Falls. We personally can't think of a better act to see as the weather warms up and he's going to heat up the stage in Sydney.     Alex Lahey Headline Tour - Friday 6th October

    Oxford Art Factory, Sydney 

    Ahead of the release of her 2017 debut full-length album, I Love You Like A Brother, Alex Lahey is taking to Oxford Art Factory to perform her signature wit-filled songs. It's sure to be a good one so make sure you get your tix here. 

    Millennium Bug 2000s Nostalgia Party 

    Hudson Ballroom, Sydney 

    Grab ya Fiorucci tees and don your Von Dutch jeans for the ultimate '00s throwback. Our buds The Interns are putting on a 2000s Party over the weekend, spinning all your fave throwback tunes from giants like Britney and Xtina to Aussie faves like Vanessa Amorosi and Rogue Traders.
