Rustie’s Glass Swords was one of those albums everyone agreed about. Super fresh, super dope. A blistering new style electronic album which (apparently) coined the genre “Lazer Hip Hop”… or “slowed down, low-slung beats, with lashings of electronic mutterings and morphing basslines heavily influenced by video games". Thank God someone at Wikipedia knows what they are talking about (or sounds like they do). Personally we’d have had the album as some sort of mutation between the best bits of house (happy hardcore et al) and the bass throb of dubstep. But what do we know?
Since then he’s dropped a couple of nice mixes but could he follow up Glass Swords?
Well after getting about 15 seconds into the brand new single Attak featuring our pal Danny Brown we realised the answer is an emphatic YES.
Bring on August 25 so we can hear the full length follow-up Green Language.
