Lily Allen has offered an update on the follow-up to last year's No Shame and it sounds like it's coming along nicely.
She dropped into Beats 1 and spilled some details, revealing that what she's working on is a "concept album".
"I’ve already written loads of songs, but they work with the concept, so I’m really excited about it," she said (via NME).
"I think it’s really good. I think it’s really clever."
On top of that, she's keeping herself very busy by also writing two musicals.
"I think, you know, last year the biggest album was ‘The Greatest Showman’, right? And you know, the Oscars was A Star is Born and the Queen movie, I mean, ‘Rhapsody’," she said.
"So, I just, I think there’s sort of like a weird decline in music videos, but then this musical thing is still taking off.”
She hasn't offered any details on what the musicals will be about but it sounds like we're about to get a lot of new Allen material.
