Logic is newly retired, and it looks like he is making the most of it.
According to TMZ, he just bought a first edition Charizard Pokémon card. In case you didn't know, these cards are SERIOUSLY rare.
He reportedly spent $226,000 USD on the card, which according to card investment company CardHops is "the highest known sale of the card."
The reason the card is so rare is because it doesn't have a shadow. Normally, the right side of the card's art has a shadow, but on the one Logic just bought, it doesn't exist.
A PSA 10 Base Set 1st Edition Charizard just sold at auction with an ending bid of $183,812.00 via @IconicAuctions.
Including the 20% buyer's premium, the total transaction value exceeds $220k.
As of now, this is the highest known sale of the card. pic.twitter.com/2mwkoopTvL— Cardhops (@Cardhops) October 10, 2020
Logic explained his love of Pokémon cards in a recent Instagram post, saying he's always been a fan. However, now's the first time he's had some money in the bank to go and splurge on the cards.
Logic wrote, "When I was a kid I absolutely loved Pokemon but couldn’t afford the cards. I remember even trying to trade food stamps for theirs and now as an adult who has saved every penny he has made being able to enjoy something that I’ve loved since childhood now as a grown man is like buying back a piece of something I could never have, it’s not about the material it’s about the experience."

All we want to know is - will Logic let us hold the card? We'll wear gloves, we promise.
