Former triple j breakfast duo Matt Okine and Alex Dyson have been busy since exiting the station at the end of 2016, but there's never been a better time for their return.
They've just announced they'll be linking up once again for Matt & Alex - All Day Breakfast, a daily podcast for those who want a breakfast show with a difference.

It's set to be Australia's first on-demand breakfast show and will be available in podcast form every weekday morning.
Speaking about the move, Matt said he's really excited about getting back in touch with fans. “I’m so excited about reconnecting with everyone who used to listen to us in the morning and even more excited about connecting with new fans who can’t stand waking up before 9:00am. In a time when the nation is spending all day in their pyjamas, it’s only fitting that we offer them an all-day breakfast show to match.
Alex echoed these thoughts. “Since leaving Triple J, we’ve definitely grown as people. Matt had his first child and I won a championship as the Chicago Bulls on NBA 2k19. I can’t wait to get back together with my radio Scottie Pippen and write a new chapter together.
The pair have been busy individually since the end of 2016, with Alex Dyson running in the Federal Election in the seat of Wannon as an independent, and Matt Okine making his own TV show, The Other Guy - but hey, you can't keep a good thing apart for too long.
The show will be released daily at 6am, with the pair talking about what's going on in the world, and what they think of it. It'll allow for listener interaction, which is great news. We can't wait to see what the pair cook up - it's going to be a ton of fun. The debut ep is out now, and you can grab it here.
