2014 is set to be a pretty great year for music with a whole heap of records on the way that have got our salivary glands working overtime.
One of the picks of the bunch is Mr. Damon Albarn (of Blur & Gorillaz fame duhhh) and his Everyday Robots debut solo project, which is set to drop on April 25.
Damon stopped by the BBC Radio 2 studios recently and shared a sneak peek off the album by performing “Lonely Press Play” and then turned in a cover of Terry Jacks’ “Seasons in the Sun,”

Due in April 2014, Everyday Robots will be his first proper solo album and he’s given The Culture Show exclusive and intimate access to his life as he prepares to present this new work to the world.
It’s a lyrical journey that takes him back to his childhood, to the places he holds dear and the memories that infuse his new collection of songs, many of which have never been heard by the public. The film follows Albarn as he looks behind his own masks of the past to give an honest account of himself and his work as a solo artist.
