It was only recently we were getting excited about the rumours of a Gorillaz comeback and now BOOM outta nowhere Damon Albarn hits us up with brand spankin’ new Blur business.

Jamie Hewlett has leaked a few pics and dropped 3 words via his Instagram that have us a little bit excited…

“Yes. Gorillaz Returns”

YES indeed.

On 28th April, the man behind Gorillaz, Blur and a host of other awesome projects will release his first ever solo album. Titled Everyday Robots, it features Brian Eno, Bat For Lashes and XL Records’ Richard Russell collaborating on what will doubtlessly be one of the crucial releases of 2014.

He’s headlined a stage at Glastonbury four times in the last 15 years, each time with a different project.
