Just like Flume & Chet Faker don’t make Australian Electronica, Courtney Barnett doesn’t make Australian Indie Rock and SIA doesn’t make Australian Pop, Baro sure as hell doesn’t make Australian Hip Hop.

We were first introduced to the Melbourne emcee by way of his (spoiler alert - BLOODY GOOD) HOWGOODISGOOD? mixtape and were instantly crushin’ on his smooooth as f*ck stylings that not only tip their hat to acts of the past like A Tribe Called Quest & Guru in Jazzmatazz mode but also hold their own against the new school US movement of Earl, Kendrick, Joey Bada$$ etc etc

He’s dropped a few little ‘loosies’ via his Soundcloud over the past few months which have kept us hydrated but now he’s served up the first taste from an upcoming EP with the steezy and breezy Bears or as Baro himself puts it “umm.. idk. First shit off my EP, nothing else really sounds like this.
