It seems once a metalhead always a metalhead when it comes to this story of two men who escaped a nursery home to attend a German metal festival.
As DW reports, two men reported missing from a German nursing home were found at 3am in the morning at Wacken Open Air which is a heavy metal festival in small German town Wacken.
Police said the men were "disoriented and dazed" and were not sure whether they intended to escape to attend the festival. That said, the men refused to leave when police attempted to escort them home.
"They obviously liked the metal festival," police said.
They eventually were taken back to the nursing home meaning they didn't get to see the rest of the four-day festival unfortunately.
This year's lineup featured acts like Judas Priest and Danzig. We're not sure exactly who the guys were there to see.
