    Hayley Williams Shared Her Favourite Paramore Songs

    Paramore lead singerHayley Williams was recently asked on Twitter what her five favourite Paramore songs were - and her list is sure to surprise a few people.

    The list included four tracks from the band's 2017 album After Laughter - Told You So, Hard Times, Pool and Rose-Colored Boy, with Caught Myself coming from the soundtrack for 2008's Twilight.

    Speaking to Zane Lowe about Told You So back in 2017, Hayley said it's a track that didn't come easily, initially struggling to write the lyrics after being presented the idea for the track by guitarist Taylor York. “That was one of the first pieces of music that Taylor sent me. I had a little thumb-drive, and I would just drive around listening to it, and especially back and forth from Taylor’s house.

    "And I would sing little rhythmic sings to myself – they didn’t make sense. There were no words. But this is another one that really intimidated me because I was like, ‘I have all these melody ideas because there’s no so much melody going on and so much rhythm going on. It’s so inspiring. But how am I going to fit what I feel into that?’ It took a minute.”

    Fans then asked her what her favourite tracks were excluding After Laughter, and she listed five tracks from the band's 2013 self-titled album, saying "the last 2 paramore albums are our best. nooo contest."

    We're pretty confident the lists are sure to cause some controversy amongst Paramore fans - but we loved the last two Paramore albums, so we can't say we disagree with Hayley.
