Going from strength to strength, 17-year-old Sydney producer Perto has dropped a killer collab with Nigerian singer Kah-Lo called Bad Maybe Good.

You may remember Kah-Lo on bona fide hits with Riton like Fake ID, Ginger and Rinse & Repeat and she's lent her distinctive vocals to this absolute tune from the Sydneysider.

INTERVIEW: Why Perto Is The New Face Of Electronic Music

The two got together in the studio when Kah-Lo was in Australia earlier this year and they nutted it out pretty damn fast - five minutes, in fact.

Kah-Lo says of Perto, "He’s so talented and made the beat in five minutes, and that’s hardly an exaggeration. I wrote Bad Maybe Good about when you know a person isn’t exactly right for you, but you go along anyway. I’d say it’s kind of the foundation of most casual relationships, and I wasn’t hearing a lot of songs that acknowledged that. Love that we’re able to put this song out!”

Perto adds, "We ended up getting into the studio and it all happened in two hours. That song came out so quickly. It was a crazy dynamic that day.”

In case you're not across Perto yet, he's released a song on Diplo's Mad Decent, remixed songs like Valentino Khan and Flosstradamus and will be playing Listen Out Festival later this year, alongside mates like Diplo and Whethan.
