In the mood for a dope new Sydney rapper/producer who isn't afraid to have a little fun? Meet Phil Fresh, and fresh he is.
Phil's a Sydney musician who works closely with fellow Sydneysider Kwame and has dropped a fly new track called I'm The Man, a playful, groovy new single premiering today on Cool Accidents.
Bubbly and boisterous, Phil says, "I'm The Man is a social commentary on ‘clout’. It’s about the dudes who put up a front, whether it’s in person or social media. People who preach one thing to the masses, but do the exact opposite on the low."
With attitude in the spades yet packing some serious flow, I'm The Man is just a taste of the exciting things to come from him.
The song, which also features the warm vocals of singer Sela Moon, arrives with news that Phil will be releasing his new EP, FRESHY, pretty soon. Expect social commentary about his Polynesian Islander background, people who are obsessed with gaining clout and everything in between, all packed into six punchy tracks.
