We may have March's Mardi Gras as our unofficial Pride Month here in Australia, but the rest of the world celebrates diversity, inclusivity and all our LGBTQI+ friends in the month of June.

This June, the internet has been absolutely stacked full of heart-warming Pride-related content and we're so here for it. From Lizzo to Diplo to All Time Low to Taylor Swift, all of our favourite musicians are marking the occasion in some way or another, so we took a minute to gather all their posts.

With 2019 Pride underway I want to take a moment to state, without the contributions of the LGBTQ Community we would not have the creative landscape, imagination, and sheer compassion in the music industry that we do today. I stated this last year and I still stand by it. For me Pride month isn’t just parades and resistance but its about a generation of fearlessness and innovation in my world. We need to remember how important it is to be aware and show empathy to everyone. We should be fighting for equal rights for all (it’s not just a privilege, but a responsibility), but also protection. Let’s not forget what those who have come before us have fought so tirelessly for. The right to love, the right to express, and the right for freedom to be who they are without hate and without fear. At the end of the day that’s what music is all about to me - love, expression, and freedom. We have come a long way but for many this fight for equality and understanding is far from over, which is why Pride month is so important. It’s a way to not only celebrate the accomplishments that have been made, but to create visibility for those who are still struggling and let them know that there is a community for them. A community that is here to love them, to lift them up, to listen, to strengthen them, and help them...one love always

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!! Pride is my fav time of the year ‘cause it’s all about celebrating and empowering the queer community. This time three years ago we were on tour in the US - I wasn’t out yet but seeing and feeling the love and support within and around the LGBTQI+ community at this time gave me the courage to finally come out to my family and friends in July 2016. Coming out was a huge moment for me, it felt like the start of living life for myself rather than everyone around me, I’d always let fears of what people thought of me determine my path, but coming out felt like the first step I made in love. Love for myself @hayleykiyoko made a beautiful post about Pride yesterday talking about the importance of self-love and how scary it can be to love yourself freely and to be proud of who you are because it makes you vulnerable. But there’s power in being vulnerable and when you learn to love you for you, it brings light to the rest of your life. Three years ago I couldn’t have imagined that I’d be the (gay af) person I am today. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come in that time and how I’m growing into the person and artist I always dreamed of being but was always too scared to be. I still have times when I question myself and worry about what people think of me - it’s a journey but I’m getting there If I can be happy and proud of myself I promise you can too, even if it feels impossible right now THANK YOU ALL for always inspiring and encouraging me to live my best and gayest life even when it’s scary! This month let’s celebrate the heroes who have fought for decades to get us to where we are today, let’s use our voices to support queer people around the world who don’t have the freedom and safety that many of us do have, and let’s love and empower each other
