    Rap Wrap

Hip-hop music comes faster than any other genre. It's not uncommon for a rapper to drop upwards of three projects a year and while that's great, it becomes increasingly hard to stay on top of it. 'The Rap Wrap' is our attempt to keep you in the know on the weekly. This week, you're getting a new surprise DaBaby release plus his collaboration with Blueface.

    Blueface - Obama (Feat. DaBaby)

Blueface is back name-checking both Obama and Trump on his new tune. Obviously, he's less than complimentary towards the latter. DaBaby joins him on this brassy track which is an interesting choice given Blueface has been critiqued for his ability to keep the beat and DaBaby is one of the most precise rappers in the game.

Pop Smoke - Shake The Room (Feat. Quavo)

Viral NYC rapper Pop Smoke has dropped a new record Meet The Woo 2 and recruited Quavo for this woozy highlight Shake The Room. Quavo is the perfect match for this beat giving a charismatic verse full of trademark ad-libs.

Meek Mill - Believe (Feat. Justin Timberlake)

Speaking of Meek, he's also got a new single out. It's called Believe and it features Justin Timberlake in a rare appearance. It's an autobiographical track with a rousing hook.

    Dej Loaf - Bubbly

Dej Loaf is one of the most underrated rappers in the game. She had a relatively quiet 2019 but she's back with a new single Bubbly. It's a turn-up track in a way with melancholic undertones which is a strange juxtaposition but she makes it work.

    NLE Choppa - Exotic

NLE Choppa keeps the jams coming, following up last year's Cottonwood which a new cut Exotic. The beat feels like it was made in paradise but the lyrical content is hard including lines like, "Fuck Donald Trump".

    DaBaby - Shut Up

DaBaby is one of the most playful rappers around but he's not playing on Shut Up. He's coming for that haters on Shut Up alongside a video that shows him hanging with Diddy, Meek Mill, Kanye and more. The big revelation from this track - he's been smoking weed since he was 5.
