    Rap Wrap

Hip-hop music comes faster than any other genre. It's not uncommon for a rapper to drop upwards of three projects a year and while that's great, it becomes increasingly hard to stay on top of it. 'The Rap Wrap' is our attempt to keep you in the know on the weekly. This week, you're getting new music from the new Popcaan mixtape and a fresh Allday cut.

Lil Tecca - Why You Look Mad

Lil Tecca has a break out year with his runaway hit Ransom and now he's finishing it off with another fresh cut Why You Look Mad. If you vibed Ransom, you're probably going to get into this one too. This one goes harder but it's still brushed with Tecca's melodic instincts.

    Allday - All Da Way

Allday's 2019 record Starry Night Over The Phone may have been a softer, twilight record but he's switched it up with new drop All Day Way. It's one of the hardest-hitting rap cuts he's ever released, winning from the start with the line, "From Westpac to the I4."

    DaniLeigh - Usually

Florida rapper DaniLeigh dropped a very strong record last year The Plan and now she's backed it up with a cheeky, Christmas-timed release. Usually is far from an Xmas song though. It's an icy flex that is relentless for the entirety of its 2 minute duration.

    NLE Choppa - Step

It's been a massive year for NLE Choppa. He's released three songs that have cracked the 100 million play mark on Spotify and he's no doubt going for more with his new project Cottonwood. Its centrepiece is this rampant track that shows the sort of intensity Choppa can maintain.

Gucci Mane - Drummer (Feat. Kranium)

We rarely hear Gucci in the dancehall world but we're liking what we're hearing. East Atlanta Santa 3 is his third album of the year and he's still finding ways to keep us excited. This year's true Santa, kids.

    Popcaan - Love You

Popcaan has long been acquainted with Drake but he's finally released a project via OVO. The Vanquish EP is full of absolute bangers but hearing Popcaan over a Noah "40" Shebib beat is a special experience.
