Hip-hop music comes faster than any other genre. It's not uncommon for a rapper to drop upwards of three projects a year and while that's great, it becomes increasingly hard to stay on top of it. 'The Rap Wrap' is our attempt to keep you in the know on the weekly. This week, we're giving you new tunes from Cardi B and Offset plus a new Juice WRLD jam.
Offset - Red Room
Offset is finally ready to roll out his solo album and Red Room is the first cut from it. It's an autobiographical, highly-skilled track that suggests his solo album could be the best of the three Migos member.
Juice WRLD - Robbery
Juice WRLD dropped off a heartbreak anthem just in time for Valentine's Day. He's proving once again why he's the face of emo right now with this dark, melodic cut.
Gunna - Speed It Up
Gunna is on a roll right now following on from the biggest hit of his career Drip Too Hard with Lil Baby. Speed It Up is another slippery, melodic hip-hop track that has Gunna proving he could easily detour into singing.
Cardi B - (Feat. Bruno Mars)
It's the first time Cardi B and Bruno Mars have teamed up since their chart-topping hit Finesse but it's a different vibe this time around. They've slowed things down and taken it to the bedroom for a slinky RnB jam.
Bby Mutha - DIY
This song has been out since November but she's just dropped a video for it so we need to give it another plug. BbyMutha is one of the most exciting MCs on the scene right now and we've been sleeping on her far too long.
Nicki Minaj - Barbiana
Blueface's Thotiana is on track to become the biggest viral rap track of the year and now Nicki Minaj has given her spin on it. Nicki is on her freestyle shit right now and Barbiana is another sharp-tongued, humorous turn that takes us back to early Nicki.
