Rihanna has given a very rare interview giving a brief update on her forthcoming album.
She spoke to her Oceans 8 costar Sarah Paulson for Interview Mag chatting all things Fenty and music.
It's one of her most casual chats to date and Paulson manages to briefly get RiRi to talk about new music which we've been waiting on since 2016's ANTI.
"It really does suck that it can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now," she said.
"I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete. It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, “Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out.”
She doesn't know how long we're going to have to wait for the album but she did block out a whole month in the studio.
The reason it's taking so long is because she's busy with her 700,000 other projects which includes a new luxury fashion line Fenty.
According to the businesswoman herself, she's sometimes up until 5am working on things and doesn't really have a sleep pattern as such.
So, if you're sitting there reading this at 8pm thinking you had a long day - think again.
Work work work work work etc. etc.
