They might not be tapped into the pop culture zeitgeist as closely as younger generations, but senior citizens can still pick up on what's hot and turns out a bunch of elders are loving Lil Dicky's star-studded new song and music video for Earth.
The video came out just over a week ago as a charity single, drawing focus to climate change, pollution and our environmental changes and featuring nearly 30 voices including Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Halsey, Snoop Dogg, Lil Yachty and more, and YouTube channel FBE put the video in front of a series of grandmas and grandpas to see how they'd react it.
And despite Dicky's cussing and cheeky innuendos, they overwhelmingly LOVED it.
Their reactions are just delightful and it's pretty hard to not go 'awww' at some of their exclamations. One of our favourite moments is when a couple of the olds call Kanye (Kevin Hart's voice in the clip), "Conway". Later, one of them goes, "Oh Kanye didn't do his own voice? Of course he didn't, because he's not the star of it." Sick burn.
All in all, they're loving the message and one even goes, "it's rap that you can understand!".
Bless.
