Trap is growing in our own backyard and today we have the premiere of one of Australia's dopest new trap queens, Sophiegrophy.

She's been working the hip-hop scene for years but off the back of performing at Spotify's first A1 Hip-Hop gig and her stint on Festival X this week, she's dropped her very sleek new video for single American Honey.

The single will sit on Sophie's upcoming debut EP but it's hard to believe it given the finesse of this video. Directed by Daniele Cernera, it's got it all - a snake, loads of whisky, a dope Louis Vuitton raincoat and awesome video sets.

Hopefully it's a sign to expect big things from the Nigerian-born, New Zealand-raised and Australia-based singer/rapper double threat.
