As we've watched festivals like Coachella and SXSW postpone and cancel all around the world, we've all been wondering what will happen to Australia's own beloved Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass.
Finally we know, with Groovin The Moo announcing they will cancel their 2020 events citing "the uncertainty surrounding how long the ban will be in place for, along with the logistics involved with coordinating six venues across six states and territories". They've confirmed they'll move their events to 2021, though it's unsure if the line-up will be the same.
Splendour In The Grass have announced that they will be pushing their festival back a few months to Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October at North Byron Parklands as usual. Good news here - Flume, The Strokes and Tyler, The Creator are still locked in for the new dates.
For both festivals, you can hold onto your current tickets for their new dates or apply for a full refund.
Stay healthy, guys - we'll see you at a festival when it's safe to go again.
