Having just been in the country for Splendour In The Grass, SZA has told a lucky audience that she's got a project on the way, due out before her next album.
It's been a while since CTRL, which was released back in 2017, and there hasn't been much new music from SZA since then. However, that might soon be to change.
As Uproxx have reported, a fan-made video of SZA during a concert shows her telling fans, "OK, I’ll tell you the true tea.True tea: I’m probably gonna drop like a little project before my album so I can just get it out of the way. Because realistically speaking, if you leave it up to my foolish ass, it’ll be here in quite some time."

She went on to say that her most devoted fans already know a few songs from the tape, saying, "But I do have… the ones that you guys know are the ones that I will be dropping, and if you research what you should know, then you know."
We can't wait to see what SZA delivers next. Given how huge CTRL was, there's high hopes for SZA's new project, and hopefully more details about the upcoming project drop soon.
