Tame Impala have kicked off their The Slow Rush tour in style, covering Lady Gaga at their San Diego show.
The band is on tour in support of their recently released fourth album, and the first show of the tour included a cover of Lady Gaga's Perfect Illusion, with the show being the first time the band have played the cover live.

It's a track that strangely makes sense for Tame Impala to have covered, given that the leader of the band, Kevin Parker, co-wrote the song for Gaga's 2016 album Joanne.
That wasn't the only first from the show, with a number of live debuts - One More Year, Posthumous Forgiveness and Is It True from The Slow Rush were played for the first time live, as well as Currents tracks Reality In Motion and Past Life.
Check out the footage below - hopefully they bring the cover out when they tour Australia in April.
