Tame Impala's Kevin Parker is gearing up to release his fourth album, The Slow Rush, on Valentine's Day. It's set to be his most ambitious album yet.

However, he hasn't always been so sure of himself - saying he gave away The Less I Know The Better from his third album, Currents, and then almost immediately regretted it. It's his biggest song, so it's a good thing he didn't leave it at that.

Kevin told GQ he gave away The Less I Know The Better to Mark Ronson - and then had to muster up the courage to get it back. "The Less I Know The Better was one that I wrote on my own. I gave it to Mark Ronson for his album, but I took it back. I was putting off telling him that I wanted to use it for me.

“I was in America recording with him for a few days. I was like, ‘OK now, [I’ve] got to tell him I want it for me.’ When I finally mustered up the strength, he was like, ‘Oh yeah, dude, I was going to say this song is yours. I feel like I’ve stolen your hard drive!’ He was thinking the same thing anyway.”

He's set to embark on a huge Australian tour in support of the album - so check those dates out below. They're sure to be special. He's also announced he'll be donating to bushfire efforts, saying, “In the past few weeks I’ve been devastated to see what’s been happening with the fires at home and we want to do our bit to help, so we’re going to be donating $300,000 (AUD) to bushfire relief charities.

“We’re still working through exactly where the dollars will go but I want to ensure that no charity in need during this time is overlooked and that our contribution is helpful for both human and wildlife victims, as well being used actively in climate change research and bushfire prevention.
