Taylor Swift doesn't really do things half-assed, so today when she announced all the details of her next album, she made sure it was good.
The star's seventh album, Lover, will arrive on August 23rd and along with today's announcement, we've also copped a second single called You Need To Calm Down.
Fans are definitely a little more excited about this one - it's less twee than her first single ME! and also features probably the most political lyrics Taylor's ever given us - she offers her support of the LGBTQI+ community in the song just days after writing an open letter to a senator about passing the Equality Act.
On top of that, she's announced on Instagram live that Lover will arrive with a collab with her mate and fashion designer Stella McCartney. She'd actually already hinted to this, when she wore rainbow shoes at her recent performance at Wango Tango.
