    Talk about a score! We were lucky enough to get a sneaky peek into UK producer Daniel Avery’s record bag on his current Australian tour…

    The minimal/techno/house/underground dance DON let us know the 10 tunes that are getting it done for him at the moment, and just like the case was with his debut record Drone Logic back in 2013 and his BBC Essential mix from last year he didn’t let us down!

    Easily the biggest record for me at the moment. The Token label is on fire.

    Nina Kraviz - IMPRV
    A tune that sneaks up on you from nowhere. I’m excited to see where Nina takes her Trip label next.

    U - The Kids Will Take Care Of Themselves
    It was a joy to see U join the Phantasy ranks this year. His music is unlike anyone else’s around at the moment.

    Svreca - Mountain Splitter
    Svreca: the king of otherworldly sounds

    D’Marc Cantu - Zone 4
    One of the most beautiful club tracks I’ve heard in a long time. This guy’s on a roll at the moment.

    Edit Select - Circling
    Psychedelic techno at its finest. everything Edit Select touches has such an enveloping atmosphere to it.

    Call Super - Acephale II
    On fabric’s in-house label Houndstooth, I can’t think of a record I liked more in 2014.

    Helena Hauff  - Furthermost Nevermore
    I’m a big of everything Helena makes, plays and stands for. This track is hypnotic acid of the highest order.

    Steffi - Pip
    Steffi is the queen of those aching melodies. 3AM eternal.

    Roman FlÜgel - Wilkie
    Roman is on the form of his life at the moment and that’s really saying something. If you don’t like this record then we can’t be friends.
