The Weeknd has announced that his new album is coming much sooner than we expected.
Dawn FM is slated to arrive on Friday, less than 2 years after the release of his last record After Hours.
He's set to reveal the cover art overnight but he's already released a 1-minute teaser that also offers up the guest list of the album. Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Tyler The Creator and OneOhTrix Point Never are all slated to appear as well as Jim Carrey.
The pair are already interacting on Twitter with Carrey revealing that The Weeknd has played him the finish product. "It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony," Carrey wrote about the new LP.
The Weeknd has barely had a chance to rest following the release of After Hours. Currently, he has new collaborations out with Rosalía, Swedish House Mafia, Post Malone and Kanye West. Last year, he released a new track Take My Breath which is expected to feature on the new album.
Dawn FM is out this Friday, 7th January.
