Following two amazing singles Clumsy Love and Not Angry Anymore, Thelma Plum is back with another honest, vulnerable but triumphant new song called Better In Blak.
The song is another on what will be Thelma's debut album later this year and if these three songs are anything to go by, the album's gonna be one of our favourites of the year.
She says about the song, "I wrote Better In Blak about my experiences with people trying to take the colour from the conversation. My colour is an important part of who I am, and over the last couple of years I’ve had people try and tell me “it’s not about colour” when obviously to me it is.”
Thelma's lined up the new song perfectly with her run nationally on Groovin The Moo which kicks off today in South Australia, before moving onto Maitland, Canberra, Bendigo, Townsville and Bunbury over the next two weeks.
You can also catch her at Splendour In The Grass this year, alongside Tame Impala, Childish Gambino, Foals and many more.
