    Over the past few months Wu-Tang’s Raekwon has been dropping serious heat on a weekly basis thanks to his #tbt series.

    He’s been flipping soul & boogie classics and adding a few bars of rap to classics from the likes of Rose Royce, The Spinners, Horace Brown and The Isley Brothers… even Rene & Angela! 

    We’d forgotten the total greatness of Gwen Guthrie and her Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis version of the great standard Close to You

    You’ve really got to respect the Chef for rescuing tunes we should always have stayed on.
