Hip-Hop legend Kendrick Lamar has accepted his Pulitzer Prize, a prestigious award honouring his contributions in music.
Accepting it for his album DAMN, which was called a “virtuosic song collection unified by its vernacular authenticity and rhythmic dynamism”, the ‘Be Humble’ rapper is the first Hip-Hop artist to win the award.

Kendrick accepted the award, saying, “It’s an honour. Been writing my whole life, so to get this type of recognition is beautiful.”
