Hailing from North London, Tion Wayne is proving to be one of the hottest rappers to come out of the UK in a long while. After starting out making music in 2010, he released his first mixtape, Wayne's World, in 2014. It was a mixtape that showed Tion's potential - he may have been raw, but he was exciting as hell to listen to, and he's only improved since then. Now his song Body with Russ Millions is absolutely poppin' off - and if you love the song but don't know much about Tion himself, read on.

A decade's worth of experience has paid off for Tion over the last couple of years, and continues to do so. He's been busy honing his sound, and he's as much a storyteller as he is a spitter - as his life has changed, so has what he's talking about, but it continues to hook you in from the very first word.

2018 saw Tion release Home, one of his biggest singles to date. The video for the track shows Tion overcoming the troubles he's faced in the past, on his way to becoming one of the biggest names in UK rap - it was a triumphant return, and a sign of bigger things to come for the rapper out of North London. You can't keep Tion down for too long, and Home was a warning shot that he was coming for the UK rap throne.

Last year saw Tion continue his ascension in the UK rap scene, with shows at London's Brixton Academy, as well as the release of the third installment of his Wayne's World mixtape series. He linked up with Russ Millions to record a remix of Keisha and Becky, with the collaboration showing that Tion can go toe-to-toe with even the most lyrical of rappers.

He's already started 2020 off hot, featuring on YouTuber-turned-rapper KSI's track Houdini alongside Swarmz, with the Afroswing track featuring on KSI's album Dissimulation. It's proof that whether it's on his own track, or on someone else's, Tion is equally able to spit bars and provide hooks that'll stay with you long after you're done listening - and it's why he's in such hot demand right now. Then there was I Dunno, featuring Stormzy and Dutchavelli, which sees the trio trading bars. It's Stormzy's first feature since he dropped his second album Heavy Is The Head, so it's a show of how much respect Wayne has from both his peers, and the wider community.
