    A little under 12 months ago, tracks by an artist called ‘Your Old Droog’ started circulating that had a lot of people scratching their heads..

    At the time, completely anonymous, the cadence and tone of the MC was so reminiscent of Nas that heads were speculating that it was actually the pioneering Queensbridge rapper stepping out of the glare of a platinum career to make that street level shit we always hoped he would..

    Well.. Surprise suckers.

    Nas continues to make disappointing albums… and ‘Your Old Droog’ is actually this guy:


    And what he lacks in finesse in the visual arts (see album cover up top) he makes up for with incredible beat selection and super clever rhymes.
