When Ed Sheeran isn’t busy touring the world selling out huge venues and capturing the hearts of millions of girls with the old ‘just a guy & a guitar’ routine he probably doesn’t have much time on his hands to get his party on BUT we caught up with Ed on his recent Australian tour and managed to find out what he puts on the stereo when he gets the chance to let his famous ginger hair down.

It seems a long time since Passenger was very kind and let us put Ed Sheeran on the bill of his Brisbane show as part of Ed’s first trip to Australia. We didn’t know when we asked that they were good mates, but it was the sort of favour mates do.

On Ed Sheeran’s recent whirlwind tour of Australia, between playing sold out shows and getting a local marsupial tattoo (true story) we managed to catch up with the man himself for five to see what tunes were currently rocking his world.

So everyone’s favourite redhead Ed Sheeran played a show at the Enmore Theatre on Wednesday night to a sea of smart phones and a PACKED house.

Just when we thought Ed couldn’t get any cooler, he’s appeared with a new tattoo and an acoustic version of Ginuwine’s ‘96’ classic’ Pony which he recorded while in New York City recently.

Ed has spoken of his love of hip hop and R’n’B in the past and the fact that this song was originally released when he was 5 years old, gives testament to his love of the genre.
